Born and raised in Brighton, Tennessee, my passion for capturing moments ignited during Sunday dinners watching old family videos and flipping through photo albums. This "magical" experience led me to delve into videography with my first camera, a Kodak ZI6, creating home videos reminiscent of those my family filmed when they were younger. As my interest evolved, I received my first DSLR camera and explored photography in downtown Memphis, capturing street scenes and events. My journey took an unexpected turn into sneaker photography. I gained recognition on social media and eventually landed a role as the lead photographer and videographer for City Gear. After four years, I transitioned to Lensrentals, where I honed my skills in digital content creation. I tested various imaging equipment, and delved into filmmaking. While at Lensrentals, a chance encounter led me to contribute to an ESPN documentary, sparking my desire to tell compelling stories. This newfound passion culminated in directing and producing a feature-length documentary, earning recognition at the Indie Memphis Film Festival with a nomination for best hometown narrative feature. Throughout this time, my list of freelance clients grew, allowing me to start PROJECT 290, a media production company with my wife. We have led projects with brands such as the Downtown Memphis Commission, Memphis in May International Music Festival, Green Dot Public Schools, The YMCA, and Make-A-Wish Mid-South. Recently, I joined the Memphis tourism team as the digital media specialist, creating, directing, and distributing content that promotes the city of Memphis to the entire world. I now focus more on branded content, blending storytelling and brand promotion into one vision. Today, I continue to explore the world of imaging and production, driven by the joy of capturing and sharing meaningful moments.
